The event will begin with a project presentation by City of San Ramon staff, covering the planning, design, and construction of the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing. The presentation will highlight key engineering challenges, safety considerations, trail connectivity improvements, and coordination efforts that contributed to the project’s successful delivery and industry recognition. Following the presentation, attendees will participate in a guided walk of the project site. City staff will discuss notable design features, construction methods, and lessons learned, providing practical insights into the execution of a complex, multimodal infrastructure project. The event will conclude with an informal networking happy hour, offering an opportunity to connect with peers and colleagues working in public works, engineering, transportation, planning, construction management, and related fields across Northern California.
